The sultan of Yogyakarta used to watch from this window his "ladies" while they had a bath. And based on his mood he had chosen one every night.

I wanna be a sultan!!!:)

Prambanan

Prambanan, originally uploaded by laz'andre.

According to a Javanese legend, there was a man named Bandung Bondowoso who loved Roro Jonggrang. To refuse his love, Jonggrang asked Bondowoso to make her a temple with 1,000 statues only in one-night. The request was nearly fulfilled when Jonggrang asked the villagers to pound rice and to set a fire in order to look like morning had broken. Feeling to be cheated, Bondowoso who only completed 999 statues cursed Jonggrang to be the thousandth statue.

Prambanan is considered as the most beautiful hindu temple in the world.

Lake Toba

Lake Toba, originally uploaded by lukas.jenkner.

I took this photo in January 2007 during my trip from Medan to Nias. I spent two nights at Lake Toba and one day I had a motorbike tour around the peninsula. The photo was taken at the eastside of the peninsula. (lukas.jenkner)

My journey to one of the largest and highest lake in the world- Lake Toba or Danau Toba. a vast lake, 100 km long and 30 km wide, in the middle of the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sumatra with a surface elevation of about 900 m (3000 feet).

villa m one bedroom exterior

Welcome to Private Luxury Villa

The beautiful Villa M is hidden away in the rice fields, just ten minutes’ drive from Berawa beach on Bali’s south western coast. Offering guests a choice of renting options, this 4-bedroom retreat covers 2,000 square metres of land and is comprised of two self-contained villas, each with a private entrance and a private pool. The 1-bedroom villa and the 3-bedroom villa can either be linked or alternatively remain totally separate and private. Designed by Balinese architect Putu Edy Semara, the style blends modern Balinese architecture with minimalist design, local materials, hardwood floors, and graceful, contemporary furnishings.

The approach to Villa M is through the Balinese village of Umalas, the narrow country lane then winds through the rice fields for another two kilometres before reaching the main entrance and reception pavilion via a large courtyard with a sizeable parking area.
