I took the photo at the island of Gili Meno near Lombok, last week. The boats are used for fishing, and for charter for tourists for snorkeling and also for chartered transport to Lombok and back.
About me: I'm an amateur photographer, joined Flickr about 3 or 4 weeks ago, am on a steep learning curve (like you, once the engine starts.....) and have just had my first visit to Indonesia where I spent most of my time on Lombok.
