Indonesian police officers wait in nervous anticipation, the enthusiastic crowd of tens of thousands of sign-waving and chanting protesters slowly approaching in the sticky Javanese heat. President Bush was making a stop at the Indonesian presidential palace in November, 2006, for a meeting with the Indonesian President. The rally that was organized to greet (protest) Bush as he arrived was, in all, peaceful, though there was certainly tension in the air.
