This old lady used to be a servant to Queen of Rende (a kingdom village in East Sumba ruled by a queen). After she's retired, her descendants replaced her. In the past, if the Queen dies the servants have to follow the queen, accompaniying her journey to heaven. Means their were slayed together with a big number of cattles so that their souls could still serve the queen. It is said that the government has banned the ritual.
